Good Morning Everyone! Ohhhhh- I just heard the news guy talk about Spring Cleaning, I think this should be a dirty word--don't ya? Just the cleaning outside is something I dread, but cleaning inside!! Oh I really hate cleaning windows and mini blinds, I'd rather go buy new blinds rather then wash the old ones!!LOL Isn't that terrible? We did finally finish up with getting all new windows put in our house last year, so now I can clean all of them from inside the house and they all come apart, except the 2 big ones in the front of the house, and the 2 little porch ones.
Yesterday I got the Easter stuff bought for the grandkids and Chars birthday present. I had some stuff to buy at the grocery store for Easter and for the cheese cake and stuff for Friday night (Chars Party) and of course ended up buying things I didn't plan on buying- isn't that the way it goes every time? I have to make a egg bake for Easter Sunday- we're having a family brunch at Kathy and Lonnys house. Should be fun- whole family will be there , besides Kathy's family. My sister and family and my mom will be there and me and Jim and the 2 kids and their families, we'll be missing Kim, Scott and Tyler ( A LOT). They won't be alone this year anyway, they will be in L.A. with friends.
Thanks Shirley, for the congrad's on the smoking. After Jim had his heart attack in Oct- we both knew it was time to quit. I had my last smoke the morning he got out of the hospital, as I was waking into the hospital to pick him up- I threw the FULL pack in the trash can and haven't picked one up since. Jim had his last one the night before he had his heart attack, and I told him if I ever seen him smoke again, he didn't have to worry about the smokes killing him- I would do it to him!! The thing people who don't smoke don't understand is how hard it is for people to stop. We knew we had to- I had too if I was going to get Jim to stay off of them and for my own health too an d then they are getting so expensive , no one can afford them. So Shirley --I know you and your husband will be able to quit too, if we can --You can!!
