Here's one for all of you, (like me) who love to get away to some cabin in the woods and go 4-wheeling. This is our summer time get away. We only get up North about 5 times during the year
but it's fun when we do.

I thought I would post a new one before I head to bed. It seems like it has been a real long day. Yesterday , the kids came over and we BBQ and enjoyed some yard games. Thanks heavens the rain held off until over night. Today we did a bit of yard work and a bit of odds and ends that needed to be done.I cheated and we went and picked up tacos for supper.It seems like after working outside I lose all desire to cook! LOL

Wordart For Today
Hi All, hope you are all great today. We finally got some rain today- in fact it rained ALL day, so the ground got watered really good.
I emptied my up-right freezer today, so that I could get it defrosted before our quarter of beef comes the 1st of Nov. We just got a little chest freezer from bob, so I had enough room in there to put what I had in the up-right while I'm defrosting it. Of course I bought meat at the store yesterday that was on sale, some of it was buy one get one free. they even had turkeys on sale, so I bought it, not remembering that I had to have a place to put it when I defrosted the big freezer. Some days I'm so smart!!!! But it worked out ok. I'm also treating my hubby tonight- I'm making him squash!!! I hate it- but he loves it. I'm so nice.

This is a picture of my hubby's pototo crop this year!!!! I figure we got about 8-10 lbs. Not real good, but he just wanted to try them. He was so proud of his little garden.He planted his tomato plants in planters this year and we got a lot of tomatos.

Wordart For Today
Good Morning- I guess I was thinking about our Cabin up north and all of us heading up there next week, when I did this wordart up! It for sure is in the woods and all alone out there!!! There are other cabins scattered around out there, most within a mile or so from us. But we aren't by a lake, it's used for 4-wheeling and for Deer Hunting. We are in the boonies!!!!!
Today all us woman are taking the kids to the Minn zoo, we can get another peek at the grizzly Bears (we got to see them last time we were there), heard that there were baby moose and also baby leopards born this year. Hopefully we can get close enough to these babies to get a good look at them. I have my cameras ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both of them.
Well, better go and get dressed and think about what we are going to pack for lunch at the zoo and get that done. Have a great day everyone!
