Hi, thought I would post a new one for you this afternoon. What is the weather like where you are? It's beautiful here, 60 degrees and the sun is shining! WooHoo.  I didn't get outside today to get more yard work done, but I cleaned house all day. I changed my furniture around in the living room and cleaned the whole main floor (deep cleaning)  I never touched the up-stairs bedrooms or the 3 rooms in the basement, but they can wait for another day. LOL Out of sight, out of mind.
Tomorrow I am going to help a friend  tack her newly finished quilt that she made for a family member. She is going to sew button on it to tack it. I helped her a few months back tack another one. Makes for a nice CHAT session for us.

Hi everyone- I thought I would do this cluster for all those BBQ photos that everyone has taken this summer.

We have been busy outside doing the deck and undoing the deck. Had to tear it all apart (the new one that we had started) it wasn't QUITE up to regulations as far as the city inspected said!! He kept changing his mind from one day to the next- one day it was good if we added this- the next day it wasn't enough, but if we added this it would be and so on!!!! Got tired of that crap and tore it down and are going to lower it under the 30inches and then we don't need a permit.

- What a bunch of BS!! Sorry=just letting off some steam this morning!! LOL

So mow I need to take the dog for hewr walk and then get ouside with Jim and Rebuild our new deck. Have a great day everyone.

Hi everyone, hope you are all making it thru this crappy weather we are having all over the U.S. We lucked out- so far-- today , we were suppose to gert freezing rain starting at midnight last night, but it was dry this morning and when it did start in it was snow. So I quick warmed up my car and headed for town, had to get to the grocery store and out to Menards, and I wasn't taking a chance on maybe not getting out there tomorrow.

Jim is working days and my friend Char , who comes every morning for coffee , is out of town for a week. So it was just me and the dog all day. The boys didn't even come this evening, Rhonda must not have had her exercise class tonight.

Today I got my craft/tutorials/ sewing patterns/ computer tutorials/ printables stuff and directions for all of it --file cabinet cleaned out!!

I threw about 75% of it out. I haven't looked at it for A LONG TIME, so figured it was about time to throw it. I still have a lot of other drawers and closets to do the same thing with. I don't wanta rush into anything tho! LOL

I had my daily talk with Kim today and her and Tyler had just gotten home and Tyler had gotten his braces off!! They gave them to him and he wants me to put them in his scrapbook (which I'm doing for him") so I told him sure I can do that. He just started playing the drums and is real excited about them. Hopefully his dad will be when he gets home from Afghanistan. Kim is getting the house ready to list with the realty soon, so hopefully that sells for her before he gets home.

I have been working on Jim's computer for the last 2 days, did a complete recovery on it, so have been trying to get stuff reinstalled on it for him.

We went out for supper tonight and then watched a movie. Last night we were over to Char and Ron's and had a game night and a few beers for the guys. Jim works the next 3 days and then is off for 7 days. I wonder what I can find for him to do to keep busy? LOL

Our snow is here, it isn't coming down to hard yet, but it's starting to accumulate on the ground. It's a good day to stay in and cozy down by the fire place- "WISH i HAD ONE"!! lol
I and Jim got the Christmas pkgs all wrapped this morning and under the tree- another job I can scratch off my list.
Jim sisters, Pat and Leann are stopping in here soon for a little visit before they head back to Duluth. They were in Wis. yesterday visiting Pat's Sons and grandkids. I'm sure they won't stay long, with the weather the way it is, but even a short visit is better then done. We might have to go and pick up the boys from school, depending on how it is in a couple of hours. I have a feeling that there isn't going to be any school tomorrow, so we will probably have the boys.

Today i decided to give you the cluster that I made. I thought it would be great for the school year end pictures or some of these summer pictures that we will all be taking. I will give credit at the end of the post to the other designer of bits and pieces of this cluster.

Pretty quiet around here the last few days. Jim and I worked out side yesterday morning, him- mowing the grass and me pulling weeds and snipping off all those little trees that try to pop up here and there. He went back to work last night, working midnights this week.

I did a little baking last night and other then that I just played Frakel on Facebook and then I did up a couple of Layouts with some old pictures that have been waiting to get scrapped! I do most of my digital scrapping on the nights that Jim is working. I don't feel like I am taking time away from him then.

The boys are coming today and I think we will go and buy some birthday cards and maybe pick up a few groceries.

Things are starting to get back to normal. Zach is doing good after his surgery and went home from the hospital last night. It hurts him to move of course- because of the incision and he still isn't eating or drinking much. He will be coming over here today and spending the day with grandma and his 2 cousins Maggie and Kenzie. No school for them and mom and Dad have to work. So the 4 of us get to hang out together today!

It's jim's last day of work this week and then tomorrow we go and get the scaffaling for the house and we should get that started tomorrow evening. I can't hardly wait until it's finished. It's like a thorn in our sides. Gotta get it finished and just hate the thought of doing it! Oh well, enough of that. Here is another alpha definition also.

Good Morning Everyone- Hope it's as bright and sunny at your house as it is at mine. It hasn't warmed up yet, but I'm sure in a few hours it will be warmer then we want. It looks like a beautiful day has started.

I'm sitting here having my first cup of coffee and really enjoying it!!! I would like to be out on my front porch, but it's still a bit chilly this early in the morning yet to set outside.

We got everything done yesterday that we had planned on and yet it was a rather laid-back day.

We went up to the rent-a-center to reservice scaffolding for doing the rest of the siding next weekend and he told us that we didn't need to reservice it, they had lots on hand! So cross your fingers and hope that the "lots of it" is there on the 4th of June!

Jim got the oil changed and his Truck all cleaned and sparkling, it was really dirty inside after his turkey hunting and our going to the hunting shack, and then when x-cel trimmed our trees out here the other day, the windows were open and we got some wood dust inside from that. So I think we got our moneys worth on that cleaning. The poor cleaning guys didn't know how bad his truck was!

We headed up to Applevalley after that and went to RedWing Shoes and Jim got his new steel-toed tennis shoes! We were in and out of there in about 10 minutes flat- fastest time ever for us.

Jim told the guy what he wanted - the guy had the shoes out-Jim had them on- and the next thing I knew they were boxed back up, paid for and we were out the door!! This guy either had a late lunch date or he was anxious to text he's girl friend!

After the shoes we headed to Wal-mart to look for Birthday gifts for Maggie and Liz. Found Liz's gift and part of Mag-Pies. We headed to Target next to see if we could find the rest of Maggies gift and had no luck there either! So as we were getting ready to head home, we both spied the World Buffet down a ways on the shopping center strip and decided to have a late lunch- early supper. It's Chinese and so good, and that meant that I didn't have to cook!!! Can't get any better then that. right?

We were back home here about 4:30 and Jim decided he had gotten up to early yesterday and was now tired and had a full stomach and should have a little nap. I took that time to sit and pay the bills for the week. Kim and Tyler had called while we were gone, so I called them back and Tyler told me that he thought he had done good on his one Math test and had they had been studing for the one he had today. In N.C. they have to pass these certain tests at the end of the year or they don't go into the next grade, and it doesn't matter I guess how they did during the year. So there has been a lot of stress around the Johnson household. And with Scott gone, Kim gets to be the tutor for all the subjects., and Math has never been her strong point!!

I got my 2 hanging flowers watered last night, but Jim has to water everything else this morning, no rain in the forecast until Sunday.

Bob called and came over and visited and had a few beers with Jim last night and brought me a birthday card and gift. He is coming tonight for the cake and ice cream and he could have brought it tonight, but didn't want the card to be that many days late! What a guy!

Well, that takes care of most of yesterday for me. So I guess I better go and see what today is going to bring me. I know I still have to finish up Maggie's gift and go get some groceries.

Jim bought me 2 huge (old Man boots) garden pots. They are adorable, now I just have to go and buy flowers for them. Then I have to figure out where I'm going to set these.

Char was here for coffee this morning and we caught up on what happened over the weekend. We usually get together every morning for about an hr. Friends have to keep in touch , ya know! LOL

Good Morning to All, hope you are having a good weekend so far. Mine is getting a little better- at least I few a bit better. I had another miserable night, but at least it was't the chills and fever. Yesterday I spent all day alone- Jim slept most of the day and then left for work, so I seen him about 2 hrs and I talked to Lonny on the phone, he called to see how I was feeling and Rhonda called earlier to check on me.Other wise I haven't talked to anyone or left the house. I was hoping I could get out for a bit today, thought it might do me some good to get some fresh air. We'll see how it goes.

We got a bit of rain last night, and it looks like it could rain again soon. I sure hope so , we are having drought conditions and the grass fires are starting to get real bad. It sounds strange, especially when we had flooding just west of us a week or so ago! But, we are DRY!

Me and Rhonda were suppse to go to Sam's club yesterday, but that got canceled of course- so probablynext weekend.

Mike (son-in-law) is Turkey Hunting this week- at least he hunted on Thursday and is suppose to be able to hunt today, but if it starts raining, that won't happen either. Poor guy, he only has the 2 days that he can hunt, so hope he gets some hunting in today. Jim starts his Turkey hunting next Friday. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I hate the thought of it, he gets his Poison Ivy every year----- he only gets to hunt 3 days and then him and me suffer for the next 3 weeks!! Yes me tooooo----I get to scrub everything up- decoys, calls, guns, boots, pants, blind, and then I get to suffer the itching with him--THAT'S THE BEST PART! Why does he go--(you ask) when he gets poison Ivy every time--- Because he loves Turkey Hunting and it's relaxing for him (He says).

My opinion-- I think he's nuts! No way would it be worth it. I think I have a Layout done here on the blog of him and his Turkey that he got last year, if you want to see it.

Good morning everyone! It's Sunday here and guess what , we got snow during the night! Yep, it's true, not a lot but the ground is covered. I haven't heard if there is more coming or not- guess I don't want to know! LOL The weather bug is flashing on my computer, so I guess something is still going on.

We went and checked out the puppies and dogs that they had for visitors Day down here at the pet store-really cute golden Retrievers and a little black Lab, but it turned out that they all had been spoken for and were going to good families. They did have two older dogs, but they were bigger then we were hoping for. The little black lab had only one eye, his mother had stepped on him when he was born and put his eye out, but boy was he a cutie!

Jim got the bar stool legs cut off and they fix GREAT now by the table, the boys tried them out last night during supper. We have been talking about doing this for months and now just got at it! our next project is to clean out all the extra paint that is in our attic that we aren't going to use and take it out to the hazardist waste center. Another job we have been going to do for ever!

We stopped and visited Bob Yesterday (his wife Jo is the one that died in Feb) and wanted to see how he was doing. He had been cleaning house!! He looked good. He said he had been out cleaning the yard and finally got rid of all Jo's DayCare stuff, the lady next door took most of that for her daycare. He was there alone yesterday (Chad must have been working)- except for the 2 big dogs- they keep him company. I think he'll be coming over next week when we have Char's Birthday Party. We see him at least once a week , the rest of the friends haven't seen him as much. They are having Jolene's burial on the 17 of this month, I guess. Maybe then everyone will get some closure. Her sister is still having a real hard time. Some days I still wanta pick up the phone and call her to see what she's doing and how she's feeling. And it's still real hard to walk in her house and not see her there.

Today we might be going up to Lonny's to help him work on his patio door, and then again maybe not, with the weather the way it is, might not be a good idea! Of course it might not have snowed up there.

Hope ya like my little cluster that I did up yesterday. I figure it can be for both the little girls and boys in you life that play softball, baseball or T-ball. I never made the element, they are all freebies or a piece that is out of a kit that I bought, from all those wonderful designers out there.

All 4 of my grandkids ( that are here) are playing ball this summer, I think Maggie is playing T-Ball again. I forgot to ask Kim last night if Tyler was signed up for any ball this summer. They have a month left and then Scott will be leaving to Kansas for training and then he will be deployed to Afghanistan the 1st of July. They are headin to L.A. next week to visit old friends for a few days- these are all stationed at Fort Polk and most of them are in the Army rather then AF like Scott- even tho he is Air Force, they were stationed on the Army Base when they lived there.

Well, I think I have yapped enough this morning, better go get dressed and see about getting breakfast for these boys soon, one is still sleeping the other is watching cartoons.

Good morning, for what ever reason I seem to have to put the image and download link in two different ways for it to get onto both of the freebies search sites. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'll keep trying to figure it out. It did work once for me, where I just had to put it in the one way, now it won't. Oh well, such is life somedays!!
Hope ya like the wordart cluster. I think I might try doing a few more of these. I love to do quick pages too- but have to get permission from some of the artist to use their kits.
