Hi everyone. It's been a little while since I have posted, but I have been gone out of town and had not way to post. We went up north to our hunting cabin for the seasonal deer hunt. I'm not a hunter, but my husband and son are, so I go along to help them with the food and stuff. I do get a lot of reading done while we are up there, which I something I love to do and I managed to read 2 books while there and I got a bit of scrapbooking done. Took my laptop (no internet) but I can use my program without it, had all my kits on a extertor hard drive, so was good to go.
Our snow is gone again, and it has warmed up a bit ,it was 37 degrees today, so no complaints here.
My hubby bought me a new laptop, so have been busy downloading all the stuff I need on there. I have been wanting a new one for a long time. I use my desktop for most of my scrapping, but its nice to have the laptop if I want to curl up on the couch and do my wordart or check e-mail, especially during hockey season! I love to be able to watch the game and still play on my computer.

I know, but can't help myself! lol
We didn't go up to our hunting cabin this weekend like we had planned. The weather got nasty up there and they were predicting 4-8 inches of snow and then rain later on into the weekend. We just couldn't make ourselfs do it. We will be going up there the first of Nov for hunting season. At least now some of my stuff is already packed!
I made homemade soup for supper tonight , a real good night for it, We spent a lot of the afternoon outside doing yard work and putting away the patio stuff. All of my flowers are done now, except I have some mums left out there, but they will be done soon too. yuck, winter is coming way to soon.

We finally are seeing some sun today, it's kinda nice!
I'm still dealing with this terrible cough that I can't get rid of, and it's making me feel awful!
I just wanta  feel good again! lol I know, there is a lot of you out there with this same stuff that won't go away. Oh well, enough feeling sorry for myself. Have a great week everyone. Enjoy the sun if you get any in your neighborhood.

The weather has bee great here the last week, a little warmer then normal, but it's great. The leaves have
mostly fallen from the trees, so we know that the snow will be here before we are ready for it. They did get snow flurries up north a few weeks ago-- just to let the people know that autumn doesn't last forever.  We are heading up North on Friday- Up North is about 365 miles  (6 hrs) from here  close to the Canadian border- In'tl Falls Minn-- my home town. Hunting season starts next Sat.

We are heading up North again for the weekend, gotta finish shingling the roof . It's hot here today , so I,m guessing it's going to me a bit warm up there too. Hope not as hot.
I had to break down and turn on our AC today, darn! LOL

Happy weekend everyone, Hope you are having nice weather like we are enjoying.
Today is suppose to be the last sunny one for a few days tho. rain is moving in now and cooler temps. But we really need the rain, so not complaining here!
Been extra busy and feeling real proud of my self. I got the spare bedroom walk-in closet all cleaned out and our walk-in attic. Hauled some stuff to the curb (give away) and it all went- got 4 boxes of stuff for the good-will truck that is coming on the 27th and 4 boxes of books that I took out to the arena for the Hospital Book Fair that is going on the 26th.
Jim and I got our new tile laid down in the up-stairs bathroom and a new bi-fold door installed in our bathroom down in the basement. Wheeee-
Yesterday we got the carpet up-stairs shampooed and the carpet in our entry way.
Today I did my regular cleaning. Jim went out to where he hunts Wild Turkey and checked that out and set up his Turkey blind, getting ready for next weeks hunt!. He is all excited!!
Well. going to go and do a little digital scrapbooking. Maybe work on some new wordart for you all.
