Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your summer, I know a lot of the states are having a real hard summer, so I don't feel right about complaining about our extra hot summer. At least we aren't getting fires and floods. My heart goes out to all those people losing their home.
On a lighter note, I hope you can find a cute picture to use todays wordart. I know I have a few pictures of the grandkids that I was thinking about when I did  it. lol
Went to the lake yesterday and spent the day with kids and grandkids, the end of the week we have good friends coming to stay for a few days. Will be great to spend some time with them.

Good Morning, I will try this again-- I had this post all typed out and ready to post it when everything shut- down and I lost it! Hope this isn't a sign of how my whole day is going to go. LOL I'm still fighting this cold-flu bug, it just wants to HUNG ONTO ME!

We had a BBQ yesterday, a family get together so everyone could see Scott while he was here, he's leaving this morning to go back to Kansas for the rest of his training. We missed Kim and Tyler so much. We wish you could have been here Honey!

Today me, Rhonda and the boys are heading over to Cannon Falls to go to the cemetary to put plants in Dad's little garden by his headstone. We're trying to get mostly preannials planted there, so that they come up every years. There isn't much shade there either so it's hard to keep the planted ones in pots alive because of the heat, and we can't get there often enough to keep them watered every day or so. I'm going to dig up a part of my mini hosta and take it over there today. I have to do that and water the garden and my plants before I head over there this morning. No rain in the forecast for today.

Jim and Mike had to work today- with everyone else having it off they were not happy campers!!! I took a FEW pictures yesterday of the grandkids and of course Scott!!

They are always so good about sitting for Grandma and poing for pictures!! We're just missing the other little guy on here!!

Well, it's getting daylight out, so better go get dressed and go out and get the watering done, I sound like I live on a farm or ranch, don't I. Work from daylight to sun-down. Yep, that's me!!!
