All of us have to do what they ask and Stay in. So many people aren't doing that and it makes me so mad. I for one am a real high risk, because of having only one lung and my immune system still isn't very good, 21/2 years after chemo. And there are so many people that wouldn't beable to fight this virus off. Come on people do your part, Stay Home. My one daughter is a nurse and she is risking her life every morning when she goes to work.
This will be over , and life will get back to normal, how many people we lose and how long it takes is going to depend on us,
I have been keeping busy doing scrapping, some crafts, reading and painting some of my furniture.
Hubby has been working on wood projects out in the garage.

Has it been hot where you all live, sure has been here. I think the cooler weather is on the way, which I'm kinda happy about. We just got back from vacation, spent a few days in Az visiting our grandson who is stationed in Tucson with the AirForce and taking in all the wonder sights. We had a full 5 days and had to come home to rest up! The weather was beautiful, sunny and in the 70's . We got back to Minnesota and it was very nice here too. Actually today it got up to 60 degrees! but only for today, LOL it's going to be in the 40's and low 50's after today. Our snow is melting very fast, hardly any in the yard, I'm so ready to open my windows and let the breeze in. And I'm anxious to go out on my front porch with my cup of coffee. Anyone else feeling that way?
I found out that my one lung really doesn't work as good as two! All the walking we did in Az  was tough, I hate feeling that people are waiting on me. I stopped a lot to rest, but it was still really good, I just thank God that i'm still  here to do the things that I do.
Trying to get things ready for a garage sale, me and my daughter are having some time this summer.

Here is a new one for you all. Hope this finds you all enjoying some nice weather and getting a bit of sun. It got hot here today , some places had 90, heck we just has a winter snow storm a couple of weeks ago and now we are hitting 90 degrees. That it really weird.  It is suppose to cool off the next few day, just in the 70's. my kinda weather!

I have been quick to get cold every since I started Chemo, and it hasn't changed since i'm done with it. It is going to be a long winter here in Minnesota! LOL

I have been over to visit mom- she has been sick with pneumonia so she has been real miserable
and then at 84 years old it takes loner to recover back from something like that. I have been trying to fight something off too, not sick, but just don't feel up to snuff!

Hi everyone, it's been a few days since I have been on here, so thought I had better put a new one up for you.

we have had nice weather here the last week and a half and then today we got SNow! Can you believe it? They are saying up-ward to 6 inches. I got my front porch all set up for sitting out there and our deck , we got our table set up with all the cushions on the chairs and now it's snowing. 

That is Minnesota for ya! Never want to jump the gun on anything.

We are heading North tomorrow afternoon, going to meet Jims sisters and mom at one of the Casinos up there, spend the night, have supper and play a little black jack and slots. Just to get away for a night. And I love to play blackJack!

I should really be in bed, but with the time change I'm just not ready yet. I bet there are a bunch of you still up tonight. The house is quiet, so I decided to come on here and play around. Last night I did a couple new layouts of the grandkids, tonight I think I will do up some Easter wordart/clusters for  you all.
The weather has been beautiful here. I wasn't outside much today, but we did take the dogs for a nice long walk, They loved it. The sun shining and a bit of wind helped get rid of some of the snow, so I think in the next week if it gets up in the 50s like they are talking about, most of our snow will be gone. The High School Hockey tourments are over now, so we should get any more big storms. LOL
It's a fact here that we always seem to get a major snow storm during the State High School Hockey touraments. We have teams that travel here to the cities from all over the state that play in these, so its a fun time for the kids and the schools and families.
Well I'm going to get off here and go start up my Photoimpact and do a little scrapping.

Good morning everyone, or afternoon, whatever time it is where you live. I thought this one would work good for all of you who are getting rain non-stop. It's beautiful here today, but are expecting rain this afternoon.

I'm posting now, because I won't have time later. We have to get stuff packed up for our weekend up North. Jim worked last night , so he is sleeping now and will get up early this afternoon and he can load the 4-wheelers and I can pack our clothes and stuff up. We are heading up there to try to get rid of the skunks under our cabin. If you remember we got chased out of the cabin in the middle of the night last Nov. because the skunks sprayed, because some other animal was after them. We haven't been back since,because of all the rain and snow that they have had up there this winter and spring, the road to our cabin has been closed and some parts of the road washed out. So we really don't know what to expect when we get there! LOL We decided to get motel rooms for the weekend and just go out to the cabin during the day and see what has to be done. (about the skunks) yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's going to be just me and Jim and our son Lonny and 2 granddaughters Kenzie and Maggie. We aren't even taking Chinook with us this time. It's the first time that we have went up there and not taken her. She loves to run up there, but with the skunks, it's not a good idea.

Next weekend I think my brother and sister-in-law are coming from Missouri for a visit, we haven't seen them for just about a year, so that will be a good time. and then the weekend after we are going to 

colorado for a few days. So there is a lot of traveling coming up for us.

We have to get new tires on my car before we head out to CO. We are taking our truck and trailer this weekend, and the tires are new on that one.

Something is leaking down in the basement, I have a few wet ceiling tiles, so Jim has to rip those down and move our shower and figure out where the leak is. That is going to have to be done when we get back home after this weekend. He decided we better turn the water off completely before we go,otherwise  with our luck we would have a flooded basement when we got home.

No deer this year, but I got to visit with a few friends and we got snow up there.
We came home a bit early because of skunks@ There must have been 1 or more under the cabin and some other animal must have decided they wanted them for breakfast- either a Pine Martine of a fisher, because we we woke up at 2am to their fighting and the unbareable SMELL!  We left there at 3am, got packed and loaded including the 4 wheelers and draining all our water pipes(so they didn't freeze over the winter) unload the frig (gas)  and we were gone! I have had to wash everything and I mean everything since I got home. Our bins all the clothes (even the clean ones) food containers and we had to use scent away on our boots and in the truck. It was a horrible morning! The next day wasn't a whole lot better with all the cleaning we had to do. No we have to figure out how to get rid of skunks from under neath the cabin, if there are still some there.
We raked leaves yesterday and today, had 45 bags of them to take to the compost, then this afternoon I cleaned the upstair rooms, moved our bedroom around for the winter. Tomorrow it's the basement that is going to get cleaned and then the main floor of the house after that. I am going to have to get my Christmas stuff up right after Thanksgiving, because I have jury duty starting the 9th of Dec.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Things seemed to get overly busy around here and I never could find the time to play on the computer. Jim was off for quite a few days and I never seem to get on here as
much when he is home.
We were up North for a few days and got some 4-wheeling in , had a nice relaxing few days.  Jim is working nights this week , so I am hoping I can get some scrapbooking done too. Our friends Liz and Allem from up North are coming down here on Thursday for a few days. It's Jessie James Days here this week and we get 1000's of  people coming in for the event. It's a 5 day deal and they have a rodeo, 2 big craft shows, a car show, Jessie James gang Bank Raid Re-Enactments( a couple a day). Bingo, Carnival, Tractor Pull,dance and a ton of other things. Those of us that live heretry to get all our shopping done (grocery) before all the people start pouring in! Lots of times we leave town! LOL

Hi my friends, I know that most of my wordart is silly and I try to put a smile on your face, and hopefully it does. But today I decided to post a more serious type which is about lifes serious side. Maybe because I'm getting older I realize that life is so very unpredictable and it can change over night for each and everyone of us. We all take it for granted and we shouldn't. So enjoy each day my friends and love life like there is no tomorrow.
We are heading to one of the county Fairs tonight with 2 of our kids and a couple of the grandkids. It has finally cooled down a bit, so it should be fun watching the demolition Derby this evening. We spent the morning tearing apart our front step. It's time for a new one. So if it isn't raining tomorrow , we will be building a new one.  Fun! LOl Jim is off for about 10 days , so we figured that this would be a good time to get some home projects done. We have gotta a bunch of them done in the last few days and it feels so darn good to cross them off the list.

This is great for putting in the beganning of a Scrapbook- before they start checking out all your pretty pages.

We were all ready for a ton of snow here yesterday and today and it went mostly west and North of us, thank heavens. We got about 4 inches total. We had a lot of rain before it started snowing, if that rain would have been snow, we would have been buried in snow! Some of the poor people west of us got hit with the ice storm and are without power, probably for a few more days. It has to be horrible, especially as cold as it is around here yet.

Jim starts the midnight shift tonight, so I'm planning on getting a few pictures scrapped- cross your fingers for me. I ordered a new laptop keyboard, so hopefully when it gets here I can figure out how to change them and still have it work for me. No more sitting with a bottle of water open next to my laptop! I learned my lesson.

I feel like I lost my MoJo- I need to find it and get busy scrapping all these pictures that I have been taking.

Happy weekend everyone. I have had a kinda busy day so far. We drove over to Owatonna(about 50 miles south of here) and watched Jim's sister and brother-in-law shoot their bows- Had a archary meet- people from alover Minnesota showed up. It's the first time that we have every went and watched. Going back to
Owatonna this afternoon to meet up with them for supper.Timber Lodge steakhouse! yum! I guess we will be going back in the morning to watch Leanns granddaughter shoot- shes only 10 and is really good at it already.
We got home and decided we should take Chinook for her walk, she didn't get it this morning. And it's Spring out there people!!!! Finally~~~~~~~ It's clouding up now, we are suppose to get rain here for the next few day, so that will take the last of our snow.
I checked on here and I see that I have 99 followers- just one away from the 100 mark! Thanks Mandy for being the 99th. So if you are reading this and aren't following me yet, You could be my 100! How exciting is that?  lol
