Something For You Today

Good morning- It's already Wed and I feel like I haven't gotten anything done this week so far. I helped Jim get trim and dtuff up outside on our porch yesterday. This wasy the spot where the ice had done all the damage this past winter, where we had to replace boards and trim and paint it all. Bob came over last night and visited with us. KeeKee and John stopped in for coffee yesterday and we telling us that they are moving back up North, which we had already heard. I will hate to see them leave and will miss them. We don't see them as often as we used too, when we played poker.
Everything is changing so much in our lives lately--but I guess we have to try to change with it.
Hope you can use the wordart for today, I love to get comments fdrom you all- it gives my day a little extra bit of sunshine!!

Wordart for Today

Hi, everyone.I feel like i'm half-way back to the land of the living! LOL Feeling about 50% better, a few more days and hopfully I will feel ""NORMAL"" again! Even that wasn't great some days, but much better then I do now. It rained off and on yesterday and we really needed that, you can already see the grass greening up. Today is suppose to be dry and not a whole lot of sun.
I talked to Kim last night, they got home from their trip to L.A. late Sat. night and were busy all day Sunday, catching up on sleep and getting everything put away. We were trying to figure out how Kim and Tyler and Sadie (dog) were going to come home this summer while Scott was deployed. She was planning on coming home for a month in July and then again in Dec. But it's a lot of money to kennel Sadie at the vet's for that long and it's spendy to fly her back here with them. She wants to drive home, but it's about 22 hrs and No one wants her and Tyler driving by themselves that far. What to do is the ?-- Anyone got a good answer for our problem, I'm all
ears! Scott will be leaving for his training at the end of the month, GOD-- I hate the thought of this happening! I still haven't heard if he gets to come homeafter training, before he leaves for Afganistan. I sure hope so, this would only add another 2 months to the time he is gone, if he doesn't get to.
Jim is getting his stuff ready for Turkey hunting on Sat. and I have heard him practicing his Turkey and Crow calls! What a man!! Today we will probably be working out side a bit and maybe getting some painting done on the side of the house that had ice damage this winter.
I talked to Bob last night to see how the burial for Jolene went on Friday and he said very FAST. I didn't go, I don't think anyone would have been to happy to see me and have me spread my germs around to that. Now maybe there will be some closure for some of them, or at least a start. I think Bob is coming over to visit for a bit tonight and have a beer or two. His work is real slow and I know he is worried about that too.
Well, that's it for this morning, will be back tomorrow,

Today is Word Definations with Brackets

Good Morning to You- Hope you all had a great Easter and spent it with Family and/or Friends.
It's important to have someone close to you during any Holiday. So many of our military families
are alone during these times and it's hard enough to have your spouse gone and you based somewhere that you know no one.
We had a good day, spent it with family and friends, ate too much food and enjoyed the great weather. The kids hunted for Easter eggs filled with jelly beans and they had a ball, you would have thought each egg was full of money, the way they hunted and grabbed!!! There were
only 5 kids and about 50 eggs and I think it only took them about 5 minutes to find them all.
We came home and Jim napped (didn't feel real great) and I worked on my scrapbooks , I still have 2 books to finish - they are done with the old paper scrapping and the digital scrapping, so I still have a lot of gluing to do. Most of my new stuff will be just digital and in the 8x8 or 8.5 x11 books. The grandkids each have a completed 8x8 with about 100 layouts in them and I have just about finished up their second one. So that's a lot of Layouts- and I'm not countin g the other ones that I have done for myself or friend. No wonder my butt has expanded in the last 2 years!!!!
Today I decided to give you more wordart definitions with the brackets around them. Hope you can use them. Let me know what you think.

Wordart for Today--word definitions with brackets

Hi all, just a short post this morning, I'm running late and got a ton of things to do today. I thought I would try doing some of these word definitions for the scrapbooking pages, they look kinda cute on the pages, especially the kids ones. I think we might be going to look at the dogs over at the adoption pound today, we have been thinking of getting a dog and now the grandkids are on us to go look!
hugs------I would love to hear from any of you that will take the time to write something

MY SCRAPBOOK PAGES

My layouts........These are pictures of My life~~My joys~~~My
treasures~~My everything!.
Doing these pages has relieved my stress somedays, helped
heal my heart on days that I think it is going to break, but
most of all I remember My wonderful family, friends, and
life. I'm hoping that these pictures will bring some joy to
others in the years to come and they too will remember the
good times and "yes" even the not so good times!
Enjoy
