I haven't gotten any scrapping done for ages, I sit down to do it, and end up doing something else.
I'm getting so far behind on my pictures tho, I really need to get some done.
Next week is my CT scan to make sure I am still cancer free. It will be two years this month that they found the cancer in my lung, I thank  God every day that they got it all and I'm still here. I'm doing better all the time with my breathing and I think my remaining lung is working really hard to keep up with me. I could use lots of prayers that my scan is clear.
We are heading up north to our cabin in the woods to do some 4-wheeling and to just get away this coming Friday. Then over menorial weekend we are going to the cabin by the lake. We are having
a whole bunch of birthdays and getting some fishing and boating in. Hopefully it is really nice and warm.I'm doing some packing today and baking a few different things to take up to cabin. I bought a few more flowers today, I think I'm finally done! But there are so many pretty outside plants and it's hard to not buy them.

Good morning everyone, just a quick post this morning before I get started on my day.
It's a busy week for us. we went up North this pass weekend and had trailer trouble coming home, so oru trailer and 4-wheelers are in a repair shop up- north about 2 hrs from here, Our brakes went out of our truck so we had them fixed when we got home and are now waiting to hear from the repair garage to when we can go and pick up our trailer!
The last few days we have been getting things done for Tylers graduation party and graduation.
We are having it here at our house, we were going to have it out on our deck and yard, but have changed it to the garage, rain expected both today and tomorrow.!! bummer!
Today is cleaning my house and then getting the garage decorated , tables set up , some of the stuff will have to be left to the last minute tomorrow. 
We are just crossing our fingers that we don't have the real bad storms that
they are saying we are going to get.
I will post pictures later.

How is the weather where you live? Ours is sunny but cold here in Minnesota, but there is
signs that Spring will be on its way. The Temps are suppose to be up in the 30's next week,
instead of a high of 10 like we have today.
Was over visiting my mom yesterday and then did some grocery shopping, which I hate, but we have to eat so I guess I gotta do it.
Today it's just been a cleaning day, I kinda don't like that either!!LOL

Weather here is beautiful today, we are actually getting some rain, which isn't always good in Jan

because it usually freezes in the evenings.  I really hate icy roads! Suppose to be nice again tomorrow and then on Mon night we are forecasted for a bunch of snow, yuck

will have to wait and see I guess.

Heading out for supper with hubby and daughter in about a hour. Trying a new Mexican  place that opened in town.

Hope you all had a great Christmas with Family and Loved ones. Our Christmas was great, had all my kids and grandkids here for both Christmas Eve and Christmas, which doesn't happen very often.
Winter has finally happened here, the cold weather is coming in right ahead of the snow that we are suppose to get this afternoon, night and tomorrow. Which I am not complaining about at all. I have seen some of the awful weather that some of you are getting and its terrible. Sorry to you all. the flooding and storm that have been happening in your areas are awful and the Freezing rain!!

Finally They fixed whatever was wrong so that I could up-load some pictures onto here.
It's warm here and all the snow has just about melted, I'm wondering if we are going to have any snow for Christmas, We gotta have at least a little bit, it wouldn't be Christmas in Minnesota without it.
My mom fell a couple of weeks back and we had to admit her into a nursing home so that she could have rehab, with the intention of her going back to her little place in Memory /care at Twin Rivers. well now it sounds like they aren't going to let her move back to her place, so it's a nursing home for her, The one that she is in now sucks, but every where else that we have checked has a waiting list a mile long. I really hate this disease!! Mom doesn't really know where she is at and most of the time
doesn't know who we are, I find myself crying every time I leave from visiting her. It just isn't fair.

Hi everyone, hope you all are enjoying your summer so far, we are at the Oehlerking House!
Kim and Tyler are here staying with us, and we are enjoying them both.

they found a nice apartment, but can't move in for another month and Kim hasn't started her job yet either, It looks like it might be another week or so, before all the paper work from her other job is sent and all in order.
Lots of soccer, softball games and now we will be adding Lacross to this.. which is fine with us.
Jim has most of the deck stained, probably another day and it will be done, but we are getting a real hot spell for the next 5-6 days and its going to be way to hot out there to be staining.
Have a great weekend, we are going to watch a softball tourament tomorrow, at least one game before it gets to hot.

Hi, sorry it's been a rather long time since I posted a freebie, but I have been so busy with things around here that I just haven't taken the time.
Our daughter Kim and grandson Tyler got here on the 28th and are staying with us until they can move into their new apartment on the 8th of Aug. Things are going rather good for the both of them, everything is starting to fall into place, it sounds like she might be waiting a extra 2 weeks before she starts her new job, but thats ok, she has plenty to keep herself busy.
We went up to the cabin over the 4th and the skeeters just about ate us alive!! Other wise we had a good time. The traffic coming home was crazy, everybody and their uncle were on the road heading home.
Tomorrow we are going shopping for a new TV stand for Kim, and then tomorrow evening we are having a birthday party for the 6 of us that had birthdays in May and June and for Tyler whos birthday is at the end of the month. We have all been so busy that we just haven't been able to get together and then we wanted to wait for Kim and Tyler to get here too.
A ice cream cake it is!!

This is so me! Not!!! LOL
Went fishing this morning early- ICE fishing with Jim, our son Lonny and daughter Rhonda and son-in-law Josh. Josh got 3, but the rest of us came home emptied handed. The fish just weren't biting this morning.Josh has a nice fish house set up on the lake and they had it warmed up before we even got there.
This afternoon has been a lazy one for me and Jim. Him napping and me playing on the computer and doing a bit of craft stuff. I'm making some of those pictures you see, done with Burlap and you put saying on them. I will post the one I made for myself, when it completely finished,  it's my test run one.  I think I have figured out a few different ways of doing it now, so hopefully the rest will be a bit easier.
Tomorrow is probably house cleaning day, still trying to get into a routine here since Jim retired. Hope that part gets a bit easier-- does it?
We are having a few nice day as far as the weather, it's been up in the 30's the last couple days, snow is melting and they say we will have a few more 30 and 40 degree days this week. Not good for the snowmobiles or the ice fishing, but it sure feels nice.
Hubby and me are going out for supper, so I don't have to cook again tonight! Nothing wrong with that --I say!

How are you all handling this cold spell? We stayed in today, just to cold with the -40 temps to be out and about. Our poor dog Chinook is not happy, we haven't taken her for her morning walk for about 5 days now and tomorrow doesn't look real good either.

They have my mothers apartment qurnatined (sp) because of the flu that is running thru all the people there. she is in assisted living and she isn't a happy camper! We haven't been able to go and visit since the 19th of Dec. and I usually go over there at least once and sometime twice a week. Besides that she is confined to her apartment and can't leave it. So her and her "friend" Ed can't go back and forth to each others place during the day, she is only able to talk to him on the phone. They are bringing her food into her apartment because she can't go to the dining room.

We are going to have a date night tomorrow night, we are going to the casino for SeaFood Night and to play a bit of blackjack. It has been ages since we have went and had a relaxing -"Foolish" Fun night. Hopefully the weather doesn't get to bad so that we can't go. We are suppose to get snow again tomorrow morning. yuck!

Yesterday we made homemade sausages  He wanted to try his new meat grinder out. He is trying to keep busy, this is his first full week of retirement!

Hi guys, I'm back from up North and our hunting trip. Got a skunk in our trap, and a dussy of a head cold, but no deer for the guys.
It turned cold here in Minnesota, like so many other places, and we got snow, oh I am going to hate it this year! Usually I don't mind the snow and the cold, but boy do I this year. It must be just cause I;m getting old---er! LOl.
