Did you get a lot of snow yesterday and today, for those of you that were in this big stormwarning?
We did, probably close to 10inches. It's pretty but a whole lot to shovel and snow blow!
Hubby is heading to the Wilds Hockey game tonight, so I will have a evening to do or watch which ever suits me. I will probably be watching the game and do some scrapping on my laptop. lol Same thing I would be doing if he was home.

We have had snow and more snow, enough I say. The next few days are suppose to be up in the mid 30's and no snow. YES!  I'm usually a winter person, but this year I have had it with snow, I can do the cold, but not the ice and snow.
I thought with Christmas over and colder weather that I would get more scrapbooking done, it hasn't happened. I need to get busy on it,
I was into making the Gnomes for a while, give some as gifts and sold a few. I used to be a big crafter, but not so much any more. What do I do all day?  It looks like not much of anything. oops

It's very cold here today, but has been really nicer with very little snow. Hubby went up North ice fishing last week, so I had a couple of days to get some scrapping done.  I haven't hardly done any the last few months, my Mojo got up and left !
I'm am going to try to make myself do 1 page a day, ya think that is going to happen? I don't know, but I'll try.
The flu has hit a few of us, I even went to the dr. which doesn't happen very often. I'm extra careful now with only one lung.

We usually have a place in mind where we are going, but some people love to get in the car and just drive and see where they end up. Anyway hope you can use it. We just got back from Southern Minnesota, went on a Amish Tour and seen a lot of interesting things and how simple their lives are.  And we went to a Winery and a Apple Orchard. Seen a lot of beautiful country, The rolling hills and bluffs down there are beautiful.
I have lived in Minnesota all my life and there is so much I haven't seen in this beautiful state of mine.

My family in Missouri haven't been as lucky, Hope you are all shoveled out and you don't get anymore of that white stuff for a while. The snow keeps missing us here in our little spot in Minnesota.
When yesterday and spent the day at our sons cabin in Wis, he wanted to check out how his wood stove would heat the cabin, if they went up there ice fishing.It heated it just fine after they finally got the fire going.

Hi, it has been a while since I posted any thing, sorry about that, Life just got in the way again. and I haven't really felt like working on the computer much.  Now it's trying to get things done for the up coming Christmas Season . I finally got my decorations up along with the tree, but haven't even thought about any gifts yet. I guess we aren't doing the cookie exchange this year, kinda miss not doing that. It's fun and all the ladies get together , eat cookies, talk smart and even exchange a small gift, and laugh a lot!  Everyone is SOOO busy. Not enough hours in a day any more.
Any how, we haven't hardly had any snow here, none that stayed anyway, It's been snowing off and on today, but mostly real light and just a dusting on the ground, enough tho  to make the roads slippery in spots.
I will try to be better about posting more often, I promise.

Had to do this one for all of you. You have to all admit, that this is one happens in so many cases now. The kids get pretty  much everything they want, and if they don't, well you know what happens--LOL  Anyway I thought it would be cute for some of your layouts.
It's starting to get colder here and they are getting snow in the northern parts of Minnesota and we are heading in that direction this coming weekend. Brrrr
Today it's raining and a bit chilly, and it's suppose to rain for the next 2 days, just don't think I'm ready for the snow yet tho. But ready or not, it will come.
Hope you are all staying warm and dry and enjoying the beautiful fall colors that we have here now.
I actually went and bought myself a new winter jacket yesterday, so I am ready!

I was into Red Wing pottery and old oil lamps and old wooden pig cutting boards and a few other things. I still have them all, but to keep it all clean is a real pain. And I just don't want any more. And my kids aren't into collecting any of it, so what do I do with it ?
Fall has came to our part of Minnesota and I am so ready for it. It is one of my most favorite seasons.
Finally put a pair of socks on yesterday, my feet were freezing. I did start out with a sweatshirt this morning , but by noon I had to go back to short sleeves.
Hope everyone had a great weekend, we are having a birthday party for our daughter and grandson tonight, their birthdays are just a few days apart , so are celebrating them both.

Sun is shining here today and I can tell spring is here. I'm really anxious for the warm weather this year. I think this coming week I will get my front porch cleaned up and all my chair cushions out and probably the deck stuff out. We can BBQ any time now, but that's the hubbys job! That means I don't have to do much cooking.
Got my new bed and a new comforter for it and we love it! It's amazing how much room difference a head and foot board makes. We didn't have them before and bought a sleigh head and foot board and our bedroom became much smaller. All is good tho. We redid the guest bedroom too, finally got that done yesterday. Where or where did I get that much energy??!
This morning we are heading over to our daughters place and helping her move some furnish around
and then the hockey game is at 1 O'clock.  The Minn Wilds started out so good and now lately they have turned awful. they did win the game the other night , s are hoping they win today and tomorrow before the play offs. Go Wilds Go!
Well best get off of here and get my butt moving.

done around here. When we got home I had a ton of clothes to get washed and all the other stuff
to get unpacked and put away. yucks, that's the part of any kinda vacation that I hate.
Our hunting trip went great, no deer for the guys, but the weather was great, no rain or snow and we were walking around in t-shirts, that doesn't happen very often in Nov in any part of Minnesota, and for sure not in the Northern part of the state.
I got a bit of scrapping done, at least my calenders that I do every year for gifts, all I have to do is print them out. Got to visit with old friends from up there, which was great, and even got a little craft
shopping done.
Tomorrow we are going to put up our outside Christmas decorations- not light any thing up--but it is
suppose to start raining and i'm sure before long snowing too, and it sucks trying to put garland and lights up in the cold. We are doing a cookie exchange again this year, so have to figure out what I am
making for that too.
Well, better head to bed, a lot to do tomorrow, and I hear my bed calling to me.

This is getting to be so very true and it's kinda sad. People have all their pictures on their phone or computer. I try real hard to have so many pictures printed out for my photo album every few months.
I do photo album for the grandkids too, so they will have some "REAL" pictures when they are older.
This is just me being me!
