Todays Freebie

http://www.4shared.com/file/233078772/96e08079/home_is_where_the_military_sen.html
Hi it's been a few days since i have posted any thing, so thought I would do one today.
Haven't done alot today- me and Chinook took our daily walk, we try to find a different route each day. That way I can check out the neighbor hood and everyone yards. I love to see what others do to their yards and house. I can't believe how many other people have gotten dogs in the last year. It's getting warmer so the sidewalks aren't as icy as they were. if
Chinook decides to take off quick, she gives the leash a jeck and I'm a slippen and a sliddin', !!
I did a new cover for the bin on the stairstep today, got it all sewed and realized that I had sew it on the wrong side. Today was just not my day! But tomorrow will be better.
I did this wordart up for my daughter, she has a sign by her door that she adds to every time they move to a new base- weather it's a different country or a different state.

Wordart for Today

http://www.mediafire.com/?xymemjtmnh2
Good morning- not much going on today- I'm late, so this probably won't get posted on the search engines today, but that's ok. Thanks Shirley for stopping by and saying Hi yesterday, always love to hear from you.
I got to visit with Punk and Doris for a little bit yesterday- they stopped by on their way back from Cabelias and got to see Jim before he headed for work. We will get to see them again before they head back to Missouri.
Kim's birthday is Sunday, hope her and Tyler can find somthing to do that day, I feel so bad that Her and Tyler will be there alone.
It's one of these days that I don't have much to say or I guess a day I just don't feel like talking--you all must get one of those days once in a while--right?
see ya tomorrow

Wordart for today- more military

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there!Hope you all have a wonderful day with your families.
My brother and wife got to my moms night before last, so we get to see them today. I haven't talked to either of them yet. it should be a fun day.
Yesterday was another busy day and one that I didn't do much of anything! Just how does this happen?!!! I went back to bed after Jim went to work- is one of the reasons!. Lonny and Lucy(his dog) came down to pick up his 4-wheeler from Ron's shop and he stopped here to visit a little , have coffee with me and to pick up all of our Scentsy orders. Also he dropped his new pants off for me to hem-up for him. The boys came and stayed here while Rhonda went to her step class and then we all headed out to Brady's baseball game. I got back here just before 2 and quick made up a pot of chili for supper and then Rhonda and boys were back here with a plant for me for Mother's Day and then we headed out for Zach's ball game. I was dressed warm for Zach's game. During Brady's I had to leave and come home and put more clothes on. It was really COLD sitting there watching the game- felt like Fall--right before we get snow!!! Anyway I got back here about 4:30 and had about a hr and a half before Jim got here. That was my day--I did talk to Kim and Tyler and she said her and Ty did their yard work, finally a day without rain for them! She talked to Scott and he is doing ok.
I suppose I should go get out of my jammas and think about starting my day. I have to make up a Taco Salad To take to my sisters for our supper get together. I should beable to get tons of pictures today!

Wordart for Today

I thought I would do up some wordart for our military- who give so much to our country. I'm sure a lot of you have tons of pictures of your soldier that you haven't scrapped yet. I have a album that I haven't even started yet for my son-in-law and he has been deployed 3 times already and is going again in July. So I really need to get started on mine. I really like this Lords prayer- it tells us that it isn't just those that get deployed that are serving our country, all these spouses, children and parents have their own war to fight here at home.
I have 2 more done up that I will post in the next few days, I think I need to do some up of some different wars too.
My son-in-law has only been gone for a week and he is still in the States, but they won't get to see him before he leaves for Afghanistan and Kim doesn't have any real close friends in North Carolina- they live off base and she doesn't work out-(has a home based business) so she hasn't met a lot of people in the short time that they have been in N.C..When Scott was deployed the last few times She had tons of friends to keep her and Ty busy when they were in L.A. and they lived on base and she was really close to her neighbors and she worked at the hospital.. So this mom (me) is worried about them being TO
ALONE there--I know they will be fine! I talk to her and Tyler everyday to make sure that everything is fine with them. But they are so far away from us! I guess we never stop worrying about our kids -no matter how old they get. Thanks for listening - !!!!! LOL
I gotta call my mom and see if my brother got to her place last night- I thought maybe I would have heard early this morning- but haven't.Everyone have a great weekend and a wonderful Mother's Day!
