Hi guys, how are things going for you all? Staying warm? We are going into another cold spell, just had rain yesterday and then snow today, go figure!
Had another eye appointment today, they are keeping a" eye"   LOL on my pressure behind my eyes, it's way up there so I guess I get to put some drops in for the next few weeks and see if that helps lower it. Hope so.
Enough about that, Jim is working the midnight shift this week, so it's 3 nights of scrapping for me!
Yaaaaaa!!!  I have a friend coming over about 7 to watch "Dancing With The Stars" with me, but after she leaves you can bet I will be on here doing my digital scrapping. How many of you watch DWTS ?  It's a whole lot better then some of those other "Reality" Shows. They are so far from real life that you really have to laugh at them.
Our "new" phones came in today, so I get to go and get them in the morning, I'm really excited about these, like a kid in a candy store' "as my mom used to say"! They are the new iphone 6, hope there isn't a whole lot of difference between the one I got and the new one. I'm picking up Jims too, so will have to give him a quick lesson on it's operation.   Any of you got the iphone 6 yet? What do you think of it? Let me know if you do.
Well, gotta go and get my monkey Bread into the oven before Char comes and our show starts.

Hi, just a short note tonight, it's just about bed time and I am very tired tonight, I think the last few weeks are finally catching up to me. The sale of mom stuff started today, another ladie is doing it and I haven't talked to my sister today to see how it went. It has been raining most of the day, so that isn't a good thing for a estate sale. I did go and visit mom today, but didn't tell her we were having the sale this weekend. She is going to really be mad at us when she finds out. There is just no other way to do this tho".  Oh well, what is meant to be - will be and it is "what it is".

Hi, it's been a few days since I have posted again, just being lazy.

It's hot as blazes here today, finally had to turn the AC back on! I hate doing that. I'm sitting here wearing a sweater and you step outside and it's so hot you can't breath.  My bones start hurting really bad when it starts getting cold in here or I have  the cool air blowing on me. It's my fibromyalgia that does it to me. Or else old age! LOL
I haven't been to busy today, we had the boys here today and Brady got the yard mowed before it got to hot and the dog walked  and all the other little odds and ends that needed to get done outside. The rest of the day we have spent inside. Did get a bit of laundry done. We are going up to Lonny and Kathys tonight for supper and Jim is going to help Lonny fix something on his trailer. Whoo Hoo  no cooking for me tonight!
I haven't had anyone leave a comment for a long time. Mat always leaves me one- bless you Mat. Otherwise I wouldn't think that there was anyone else out there except me.
Well, better finish this up and maybe go play a bit of Candy Crush! Anyone else play that?

Hi everyone, I thought I would get this posted while I was taking a lunch break. Jim and I are building the new steps today, we also have to replace a couple of the porches floor boards. So that was another trip to Menards. Tomorrow Jim has to go to eye Dr. and get his eye lasered. Should just take a few minutes the way it sounds. And it is suppose to rain tomorrow to, so it doesn't good like we will get a lot done on the steps tomorrow. And then on Friday we get to go and watch a horse show that our granddaughters are in.

Been busy getting last minute things together for our trip up north and even got most of my suitcase packed tonight. Jim is working tonight and tomorrow night, so I'm just playing around on the computer and watching Dancing With The Stars. Any of you's watch it? I love it, tho I do get up-set when some of the ones that should get kicked off don't and those that shouldn't do. This season has been really bad for that!
Tomorrow is our Anniversary and Jim is working, so I guess we won't be going out for supper again this year. Oh well -such is life! right?

Hi everyone- slow as usual- I have 4 grandkids here the first 3 days of this week- so they and the deck are keeping me rather busy. And it's hot here yet- suppose to get a cool front come in tonight, so cross our fingers for it. I have about had it with the 90 degree days and am ready for some 70 degree days!Finally got some of our deck completed. Now for the last half.

Hi everyone, just a short note tonight before I think about heading for bed. It's been a long weekend. We were up to the hunting cabin, fighting mosquitos,sweating our butts off in the heat, all while trying to 4-wheel.

It has been so hot here- I will be so glad when it cools off.

Tomorrow we will be spending a great deal of the day up at the hospital, Lonny is having a shoulder replacement. So we are praying that this goes good.

Just a few days until we take off for S Dak. for the family reunion and then back home here for 3 days and then we fly to N.C. Can't wait!!

Scott got home this morning from Afghanistan, thank God!! Safe and sound. Kim has got to be so relieved that he is home- I know how I feel so she has to be smiling from ear to ear!!!

I wish that Rhonda and the boys were going with us- but it can't bethis trip. So they will be dog and house setting for us. She will keep every thing in order here at home.

Good Morning everyone! I'm back. We got back home about 7 last night. It took us lonnger then normal to drive home because of the construction that is going on. God I hope they get it finished one of these years!
It was beautiful up North and just about warmer then we would have liked.
Only the 3 of us went, so we only took 2 4-wheelers with us. After we got up there Jim's 4-wheeler wouldn't start. So we were down to just one 4-wheeler right away. So the guys got a lot less hunting done then they had expected. I think there was too many leaves on the trees yet anyway. We seen Liz and Allen when they came out to visit. She lost her Dad a couple of weeks ago and is still pretty sad.
The cabin was broke into again and we had a few expensive items stolen. Why can't peiople leave stuff alone that isn't theirs? Just makes ya so angry. Now we have to get this replaced before hunting season in Nov.

Hi everyone, The holiday is over and tomorrow everyones normal schedules start again. Mine started today, because it was a normal workday for Jim. He's on Midnights again this week, so I'm going to try to get a few more layouts done in the evenings while I'm sitting here while he's working.
It has been real warm -up in the 80's , but I guess after tomorrow it's
going to cool off - like down in the 60's for highs.
I was trying to change my web page tonight, but it didn't work out with my web header. I would love to make my own, but haven't figured out how yet!!
I want a blinkie, but I guess I better do some research and figure out how to make one. lol So much to do and so little time.
The kids start school here tomorrow (their first day) , and our grandkids are ready for sure!! So are mommy and daddy!

Hi everyone-- Just a short post tonight, I'm tired and I guess I just don't have a whole lot to write about. We took the pool down this afternoon, the boys weren't spending much time in it anyway and it's only this week and next and they go back to school. I cut a bunch of flowers down that were done for the year. So I spent most of the day outside enjoying the nice weather.
I think we are heading for Duluth on Sunday to see Jim's mom and sisters.
Hopefully it's nice on Dunday.

Good Morning, It's the weekend!!! What is everyone doing this weekend?
As for me, probably not much of anything today, Jim is working all day and I don't have anything planned. It looks like it's going to be nice- no rain in the forecast anyway.
We watched the Viking last night, didn't stay up for the end of the game, but we seen that they won last night. All the "to -do" about Brent Favre playing for Minn now. At least we made the news Big Time!!!! He didn't do a lot last night for the team, maybe we will see something from him next week when we play again.
Jim is off all next week so we have to try to get more stuff done out in the yard. We are going to tear apart the old sand box and also his garden spot. Jim decided no garden next year. We will plant tomatoes in pots next year.
Another week or so we will take the pool down, the kids will be going back to school and it won't get used after that. So down it comes!
Kim was telling me yesterday that Scott has signed up with facebook, so now people can talk to him on there, it will be nice for him to beable to keep in touch with everbody.

Good Evening everyone- I'm getting this posted early tonight, so that I don't forget to do it. I have my shows on tonight that I "can't" miss!!! LOL

They are Big Brother and Army Wife. If you would have told me 6 weeks ago that I would watch the Big Brother Show --I would have said you were crazy! But when Kim was here I watched it with her and now I gotta see who wins. She got me hooked on it. darn ya Kim!!

Maggie was here with me part of the morning- Kathy and Kenzie were at Girl Scout Camp and Daddy got a chance to go watch Tiger Woods at the PGA Tourament here in Minn, so he went and Maggie came here. She spent a few hrs over at Auntie Rhondas and went swimming with the boys.

I talked to Kim --- her and Tyler got her Manly jobs (yard work) done today

They mow and weed the yard every Sunday (unless it's raining)- she uses the rider and Tyler uses the push mower around the trees. She never did any of this before Scott left- so she calls it her Manly jobs!!! Tyler has next week left and then he goes back to school the week after. Where did the summer go? I gotta get some stuff together and get a box of goodies sent

off to Scott, he is in a real isolated area, so he has no where to buy a lot of stuff. He sent Kim a couple of pictures of himself and she sent them to us- those of the family that didn't get them (I will send them to you).

I watche a movie with Char last night- I rented "New In Town". It takes place in New Ulm, Minn- so that was kinda neat!! Of Course- the people in New Ulm don't talk like that really- They did the same thing in the movie "Fargo". We really don't talk like they have us doing in the movies!!!
