Ok Here is a soccer one that will work for both girls or boys, I needed to do this one because our little granddaughter is a Soccer player and I might add a "very good one"! LOL
Our daughter and family are on their way here from Colorado. Scotts grandpa died and they are coming home for the funeral. which is tomorrow. They left Colorado at 4:30 yesterday morning and only made it half way, The snow storm had hit and I80 was one awful interstate to be on. Semis all over the roads and in ditches, pure ice on roads. So they stopped half way and got a motel room for the night. What a relief! They got to the place in Iowa where the visitation is about 2;30 this afternoon and will come the rest of the way this evening. Then they have to turn around and go back for the funeral in the morning. A whole lot of driving for the poor kids! And stress for this here mom!
As a wife to a newly retired man, I can say that things are going pretty good. I haven't gotten any scrapping done tho, and I don't have a lot of Me time, but all in all things are going good.
We haven't gotten a lot of snow here, but enough to blow and shovel yesterday and it sounds like more tomorrow. We can't complain to much, way below average for this time of year.

I know it's winter in most parts of the country, but soccer is played year around now, even here in Minnesota. It's just played inside instead of outside. Our oldest granddaughter plays, so next to hockey, soccer is one of our most favorite sport to watch. There is another one for soccer coming your way. I'll post that one in the next few days.
I told you about my new craft project, so  thought I would post a picture for you all. So what do you all think. It's my 1st one,so I will be doing other sizes  with different sayings on them, this one is just for me. Jim built the frame and then burlap is stretched over that. then I painted on the burlap and then stenciled over that. Lots of drying between each steps.

I have 5 grandsons that skateboard and when I found this kit from JulieCDesigns  I had to grab it. There isn't very many kits out there yet for skateboarding or snowboarding. If you know of any, please let me know. I would love to get a few other kits. Hope you like this.
Going tomorrow morning to watch our granddaughter play soccer, and yes it is inside. Soccer runs year around now and they have inside "feilds", LOL

We got Jim a new 4-wheeler today- for those of you that didn't know it- his was stolen a month or so back- while a friend was borrowing it.
so we now have a new pretty red one in our garage. We still have to get all the extras that go with it- a back seat- gun boot for carrying his rifle- chainsaw holder and a bunch of other stuff. that boys need on their machines! So I guess we will be heading to Cabelas tomorrow. Not my kinda shopping,. but I know he is going to want me to go with him.
The wordart today is for all the soccer mom and dads out there and the scrapbboking grandmas! Hope ya like it- I did it up for some of my granddaughters soccer pictures.

This one is for you Carol, hope you can use it-- I did one just plain and the other one with the word Girls wrote on it.
Carol ask me if I could do up a wordart for girls Field Hockey, so I came up with this. I'm guessing now that I should do one up for basketball and probably regular Hockey. So they will be coming in the near future. Maybe even a golf one, What else am I missing?
Our refrigerator QUIT on me last night, so I guess I'm going shopping for a new one tomorrow. I was going to wait until Thursday so that Jim could go with me and pick one out, but I stopped at Sears tonight and they have one on clearance that has the bottom freezer and I fell in love with it. So I'm hoping he agrees to me going and ordering it, just got to make sure it will fit into our space! Your all wondering how I could wait a day or 2 for a new frig-- aren't ya? I have another one in the basement that we use for pop and beer, so I hauled all the food down there until we get a new one. It is a pain in the butt tho' !!
So I'm off to bed, so I can get my shopping done early! LOL

Hi Everyone--I decided to do a baseball wordart for all of you who have kids playing ball this spring and summer. I have a ton of softball and baseball pictures that I haven't scrapped yet. And I love it when I find baseball kits and all the freebies that so many generous artists make and give away to all of us.
Snowing again tonight, not sure how much we will be getting tho' --I do know that we are suppose to get quite a bunch tomorrow night and Tuesday, I guess we will have to wait and see. Hopefully their wrong and we don't get any! LOL

here is a bit more soccer wordart- doing different ones for the pages that I am doing up for my granddaughter. Hope you can use them.
We just got back from vacation- were in North Carolina for a week and it flew by so fast! We spent to days up in the mountains and they are so beautiful- but so high when you decide to climb up them!!!! LOL
Then we went the other direction and spent a day at the ocean and it was up in the 100's that day so once we got away from the water it was HOT!
We went horseback riding - swimming- climbing- panning for gems- shopping--
the Tweesie Railroad was quite an adventure for all of us- chair life to top of mountain- great gift shops- Fudge shop!!! train ride---You name it we seen it this past week and had one grand time.
On the way home the weather decided to act up and we missed our flight home, but ended up getting on a later one. So instead of getting home at 8:30 pm we got home at 1am.
Now this weekend we are heading up north to our cabin. Haven't been up there since April and I'm sure that the grass is 10 feet tall!! Will be coming home on the 4th- beat the mile long line of travelers coming home on the 5th--at least we hope so.
After we get back from there I'm hoping we are home for a while and can get started on our new deck.
I'm really tired so I think this chick is heading to bed.

Hi All- I thought I better get this posted before I head for bed- will be leaving early in the morning 6am- gotta be up to Lonny's by 7 and then we're heading for South Dak for the family reunion. Will be back on Sunday.

We went and watched our other G-daughter last night play baseball for the first time this year. She just turned 7 . All of her games have been rained out. So that was a lot of fun and it didn't start raining until we were all loaded in the car and heading home! LOL
Hubby went and bought me a new camera today, so I get to practice using it this weekend and I should be a pro by next week when we leave for North Carolina. I wanta take a ton of pictures while we're there.
Our grandson in N.C. got a Laptop today so he has been skype us- the kids have a ball doing that- which is nice that they can talk and see each other this far away from one another.
