Hope everyone is enjoying their week so far. Our company left this morning and we had a nice time while they were here. Did a little shopping (us girls) and then the 4 of us went out for supper last night and then stopped and visited a few other people.
Now I have to get ready for the next round of people. My daughter and grandson are coming on Sat. for a week, for our other daughters wedding. Got a to party/BBQ planned for Sunday to celebrate all the May and June Birthdays. I think there is 6 of us! Then Tuesday is the wedding and then on the following Sat they are having the wedding reception/BBQ. We have family coming from out of town for that, so it is going to be a busy next 2 weeks.
The weather is finally warming up and after yesterday ( which it rained all day) it looks like it is going to be sunny and in the 70's for the next 4 days .
To night we are going to watch one granddaughter play softball and tomorrow night the other one has a soccer game. I got most of my flowers bought and planted today, so that is another job taken care of, thank goodness. Tomorrow is house cleaning day! yuck. LOL

Kathy and Lonny and girls were down for a visit today for a few hours, was good to sit down and visit for a bit and get caught up on things. Rhonda came over and watched part of the Football game with us.
We did get the garage door all finished and it's up and working. I should say Jim got it done, I was just there to hold onto the screws and stuff.
No school tomorrow ,so we will have Brady and Zach here in the afternoon and then on Tuesday Rhonda starts her training. So we will have the boys a bit more then usual, which will be nice.

Hi All~~~ It's been a quiet weekend for me. Jim worked all weekend and I just putted with a little be of everything. I did some wordarts, some scrapbook pages - sewed a little on the quilts and even got out of the house today and went to my granddaughters softball game. Tomorrow is Monday so -drat~~ I probably should clean house and figure out a few menus for meals for us up at the cabin this coming Thursday thru Sat..
I also have to start washing my windows, I was standing out side a bit ago with the dog (it's dark out) and I was looking into the house and the windows really need cleaning! Where oh where is my cleaning fairy?
Oh well, I guess that they aren't going to clean themselves, so I best just get used to the idea!

Wordart for today- sisters- siblings
Hi all, I'm back with another wordart, we can't forget about our sisters and how each and everyone of them effect our lives. And how we as woman have effected our brother or sisters life. Ya gotta smile -don't ya--- as you think about your growing up years and certain things that happened! (right)??? I remember times that I wouldn't have known what to do without my sister and brother and other times i would have liked to kill them both for something that they had did or said! Oh- aren't the memories great?
Yesterday I spend most of it up town running around -it seems. Had a few things to get at grocery store and I ended up going to both grocery stores , K-mart and Target. And get this- I only bought something at one grocery store. What a waste of time. and at 6pm, Brady had a baseball game that I went to watch and just about frozen my fingers off, it was so windy and cold out there on the ballfield. It didn't feel half as cold anywhere else- but we were setting more out in the open.
Well, it's confirmed- Jim didn't get his Turkey, but he did get his poison Ivy. And guess what Shirley, he always gets it in his eyes or around them, because he is forever rubbing his eyes!
He has only broke out on one spot so far- cross fingers and hope that thats the only place he breaks out with.
I think it's tomorrow that Scott leaves for training in Kansas, so We have to call him tonight before he leaves. It's going to be a long 14 months!
better get this posted. Will talk to you all tomorrow and say a extra pray for all our service men and woman out there.
