freebie for today- commonsense wordart

http://www.4shared.com/photo/U47MaKk5/common_sense.html
Hi posting this early today, i'm going to go and try to get a couple layouts done. I'm so far behind! I have tons of pictures that I want to get scrapped. I decided I needed to get some of my pictures printed out and pout in my album, so I got about 200 of them printed off at Walgreens yesterday and it only cost me about 16 dollars!! I can't print them off at home that cheap. The ink is so expensive now, a person is better off waiting for sales on photo prints and having a bunch of them done.
Hope ya like my silly wordart for today and can find a use for it.
I ADDED A FEW MORE NEW SCRAPBOOKING LAYOUTS TONIGHT- GO TAKE A PEEK!

freebie for today

I just had to do this one- I remember when this expression was used all the time, not so much anymore. We have been busy as usual- our son Lonny has his shoulder replacement surgery earlier this week so we were spending time up at the hospital, and then Jim started working the midnight shift this week . Hopefully things start getting back to "normal" and we can get a few things done around here and get started on our new deck. It's been hot here as it has been all over the country and it's miserble to do anything out side.
I actually went to a garage sale yesterday, found a cute little table for my kitchen. amd a mirror for the living room at the cabin. We have been needing one there forever. I even found a laundry basket- we needed another one with 3 extra people in the house we always have a load of clothes coming out of the washer/dryer and another load needing to be folded and put away. It seems like a load of towels every day.
Have a great day everyone and stay cool!

Good morning all, I have been slacking again, just not getting on here to post everyday. I'm glad that you all keep coming back even if I miss a day here or there.
It's snowing again- I was waiting to see if they canceled school today, but it doesn't look like they are going to. They will probably get all the kids into school and do their daily count and then send them home!! It makes it really hard for all those working parents out there that don't have schedualed day-care.
It will be another day of shoveling out- Jim is off work for the next 2 days so that will help, he can be snow-blowing and I'll just clean steps and deck off. Last week I shoveled the driveway and all the sidewalks and by the time I was done with it all (2 days) my arms and hands were screaming at me, you stupid S**!! The snow piles are so high here that it's hard to throw the snow high enough to get it to the top of them. I throw and it throws back at me!!! And then just when you get the end of the driveway done, another plow comes by and fills you back in!! I think I am tired of winter this year, haven't said that for a few years!
How about that football game last night- I even watched most of the game-- and let me say-" I don't watch Football". Was glad to see the Saints win- sorry colt fans!!!
Well, better get this posted and go get something done. See ya tomorrow.

Me, Jim and the boys went walking this morning, checking out all the half- finished streets in the neighborHood!!! It will look nice when they are all finished.
Well, I best go and clean the corn on the cob that I just bought. Taking that to Rhonda for supper. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Wordart for Today

Good Morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend and are having a good start to a new week.
We got back from up North about 7:30 last night and ordered a pizza to be delivered, none of us felt like cooking and we all felt and looked too bad to go out for anything! We had went 4-wheeling before we left the cabin-then had to load everything, get the cabin closed up, which takes a bit of time. We have to heat our water for dishes, we do have a generator, so we can use the vaccum cleaner ( we never used to ), we drain everything that we use water in, we have to remember to turn the gas off and we undo our beds and put the bedding in bins, so that the mice aren't on it! Yes we do have mice! LOL Our cabin is in the woods and there are a ton of wild animals out there, in fact this weekend we seen more then usual. We seen a few deer. Mommys with her babies, a couple of timber wolf chasing deer-(right in front of us as we were riding the 4-wheelers) and some of us even got to see a black bear while we were riding the trails, he was on the trail in front of Jim and KIm. It's not often that we get to see a bear, we see signs of them where they have scratched on the trees or a cabin- but thats about it.
We had a good time at the cabin - it did rain, but we got a lot of 4-wheeling in and a lot of good family time! And a ton of pictures!!!!!!!!
Have a great day eveyone.

Wordart for Today

Good Morning! Hope this post finds you all well and Happy! I'm still half asleep so if there is a lot of EXTRA spelling mistakes, you know why.

Yesterday Jim and me both kept pretty busy, he mowed and fixed his trailer and fooled around outside, I got my front porch and railings repainted- which I have been "thinking" of doing for weeks. It looks good now. Our front of house is back to being pretty again- after the ice damage this winter I wasn't sure if it ever would be!

Today Jim wants to get his tomato and pepper plants and get them in the garden. We are going to plant cabbage plants , a little corn and some pototoes all in a 8x8 foot garden! We'll see what happens. Oh, the tomatos won't be in the garden, he's putting them in buckets this year instead. Our garden hasn't done well for the last 5 or 6 years. Some people say it's because we have a walnut tree in the yard. Any body have any ideas about that? It rained last night , which is great, because we really needed it and it's suppose to rain again this afternoon and tomorrow.

I have to pick up a couple of flowers today for my porch and for mom .

I haven't been up town for a few days, so today I better get my butt moving, still have to get mothers day cards and get them in the mail, or they won't get them by Sunday! I should be making them on the computer , but just haven't taken the time to do them. So this year I will buy them!

I think my brother Punk will be coming home for a visit this weekend and bring his new bride, Doris who we haven't met yet. They got married in Dec, but he has had so many problems with getting his leg healed ( since his motorcycle accident) that he hasn't traveled a lot. He has had a few more surgery and has gotten a bad infection , which they were having problems getting rid of.

We went over to Char and Rons last night and sat outside around the fire , talked, had a few beers and told a few 'TALL' stories!! See ya tomorrow. leave a little lov if you visit.

Hugs

my grandson Tyler with his new braces- colored - anything to make the kids like them better, if it works, use it!!! For the 4th of July he is going to have the red, white and blue ones! How coll is that?

Tylers new haircut- which he isn't very happy about!!!! See his freckles?

wordart for Today

Good Morning---It's early, 5am and I'm having my first cup of coffee. Jim left a few minutes ago to go find those turkeys! LOL He seen a couple yesterday but didn't get one. It was cold and rainy out there and he was home earlier then I had figured he would be. It's suppose to rain all day today, but is dry yet, so I don't know how long he will be out there.
We went to Zach's baseball game and boy was it ever cold and windy out there. We needed our winter clothes on yesterday, and our woolies.
We went to see Mackenzie sing at church last night and it was real special. There were about 150 kids singing (2nd thru 8th grade) and they did a great job. Kenzie has to do it 2 more times this morning. Kathy and Lonny had sloppy joes for us all afterwards, Bill and Bonnie and Collen went to the program too.
This morning me and Rhonda are heading up to Sam's club and Lonny is going to meet us there, he's a member and we aren't any longer. I'm going to have to resign up again one of these days.
Tomorrow I'm going to have to go and get some regular groceries, weather I want to or not. I really hate grocery shopping. I guess it's more the packing it into the house and putting it away then the actually shopping for it.
We found out from Kim the other day that when Scott gets home from deployment that they will then be stationed in Colorado- which is what they wanted. It won't be until Nov '10 but now they are excited about when he gets home. Kim can try to get their house sold while he is gone and she can check out the jobs there at the different hospitals (civil Service). They will be a lot closer to home, so we can see them more and they can come home more. I think it's only about 12-14 hours away - compared to 22 hours. Tyler will be really thrilled, but so will the rest of us.
Well, better get off here this morning and go get out of my jammies and get something done.
Hugs
