We are back from Texas and we had a great time, It was bitter Sweet! We got to see Tyler and watch
the awesome celemories that the Air Force has for the Trainees to become Airmen.  And it was amazing to see all those young people join the Air Force and to know what they went thru to get to that point. We are so very proud of our grandson and all the other 823 that graduated on this past Friday and all that have before and all those yet to come. We take so much for granted in life and
don't realize the training that goes into our military  and law -enforcement.
As far as Texas goes, I enjoyed visiting there, but wouldn't want to live there, can you tell that I live in Minnesota!?  Sorry Mat! lol The heat in San Antonio  I couldn't deal with all the time. I know it does cool off some during the fall and winter, but not enough for this "SNOW" girl, The people and the whole town are "wonderful" with all the Airmen, The people make them feel very proud.
It was a wonderful experience and I'm so glad we didn't miss it.
Home 3 days and now we are heading up North to the cabin for the long weekend, we just travel over 2500 miles and now we are going to go another 600 miles.  We have to be crazy!

Hi everyone, first off I want to thank those of you that have taken the time to leave a Hello and a thank you. You all make my day a bit brighter! So Thank you.
I went back to 4-share today- couldn't get MediaFire to work for me today.
We finally had to turn the heat on the other day, it was just to chilly here in the house. My hands weren't working they were so cold!
I got most of my plants pulled up, thrown out , just have mums sitting around outside now. I forgot to cover the other ones a few nights ago and they froze! Got my scarecrow and pumpkins out on my deck, so I get it's time to put my lawn furniture cushions away. They got up to 12 inches of snow up north where our cabin is at. yuck!! I'm not ready for the winter, but I think I better get ready.

This wordart was done for my two little granddaughter -LOL they are 8 and 10 and such little drama Queens, I will be using this on a page or two of them when I get to scrapping certain pictures of them.
I did get a few pages done last week, haven't had time to post them on here yet, but will get to it sooner or later.
I have been trying out new recipes- at least one new one a week. Tonig I made General Tso's Chicken and I guess there was too much red pepper flakes in it, because it was hot!!!! We were both swishing milk around in our months to cool them off! Isn't milk suppose to cool things down ?! I thought maybe I had read the amoun t wrong-but no I read it right- if I make it again I will cut it down to a tsp instead of a Tb!!

I've spent the last few hrs doing up some wordart for the next week for all of you. I guess I should think of some spring wordart to do soon. But it's way to cold to try to think any up! LOL
We're still getting the drizzling rain and I'm guessing it's going to be bad on the roads in the morning. Jim is working tonight and has to drive home in this mess in the morning. I know he only has about 20 miles, but when the roads are glare ice, that can be a really long drive. I think tomorrow will be a day for me to cuddle down with my new laptop and do a few layouts that I need to get started on. I don't think I will be out driving around town.

Wordart For Today

Our company left today, so it's back tome Jim and the puppie. She had her Vet appointment this morning and everything looks good with her. She has to go back and get her rabie shot and another shot in 3 weeks.

Jim had his 1 year regular doctor check-up today too and everything looks good with him. He got his med's refilled and sees the heart Dr on the 24th, just for a reg 1 year check-up!!!!!

Just tomorrow left and Rhonda goes in for her surgery on Wed.- will be a relief when that is over for her.

The wordart for today is for all of us on those bad days when we think nothing is going right and we start feeling sorry for our selfs. Hope you like it.

I got some crafting bins cleaned out today and a bunch of "stuff" from our walk -in attic- that we store everything in! Oh- alright, that I store everything in- OK? If I was to die unexpectly, my kids would kill me if I wasn't already dead!! Spring is coming, so I can start getting things cleaned out and give them away. I live by 2 colleges, so anything I don't want, I just set out on the curb and they grab it up. Which is very nice for me.

Today has been a lazy day for us, Jim is off today , so we took a SHORT WALK, cause it was freezing out and then we came home and watched a movie that I have recorded earlier.
Tonight we are going for supper out to RED LOBSTER. A treat from our kids for our anniversary. I'm not much on seafood, but Jim loves it and I can order something else.
