FEB 23- 2009



Hi- A new day and a new week- the kids and all the friends have left, Our kids left this morning and it was really hard to see them go. Our son -in-law will be deployed to Afghanistan in the next few months and he will be there for a year, so we won't see him again now until he returns from there. I wanted to grab him today and hide him away somewhere! This is so hard for families, letting our loved ones go.
It was hard for him today also, losing his mom was hard on him and he knows when he comes home next time , she won't be here. And then leaving his Dad was extra hard for him to- he will be worrying about him and wondering how he is coping alone.
Our house is so quiet now, not sure I like it this way! Well I better go and get some clothes washed and floors cleaned.

    Your son-in-law is very brave and my prayers are with him and ALL the soldiers fighting over there! Big HUGS as i know how hard it is to see him go!
