I know this one has been done by many others, and that is why I haven't posted mine. I did it months ago and decided I would post it now. Hope someone can use it.
I started doing my calendars for 2012-( I do what I call my flip-flop calendars) they are made with the flip photo albums and you use them on your deck. I do them up for gifts. I just have to make new inserts every year and they slip right into the photo sleeves. Maybe I'll post a picture of them.
We will be heading up North on the 19th to the cabin to get it ready for hunting season which is the first weekend in Nov. We will only be up there for about 5 days this year instead of 9. I think there will only be me, Jim and Lonny going this year, what a bummer! Won't be the same at all. But I should start planning what we are going to eat this year while we are up there. Got birthday party this coming weekend for Rhonda, Lonny and Mom, I decide to have one for all three of them at the same time. Their birthdays are spaced over 3 weeks, but to get them together for 3 different ones would be almost impossible.

Tobius- you ask about my calendar. The holder is just a photo holder (the sleeves are included with it) . you can buy these at the dollar store or k-mart - Target and a 4x6 photo fits into them. My template for it is from PcHugware as well as the grapics i use on it. But you can make your own template and put any graphic you want on it, as well as use any fonts for it. I printed it in a 4x6 size and that fits into most of your photo albums. I do these up for gifts, so I make up each month and duplicate it and print off as many as I need. I'm doing 8 calendars this year, but they( the people I'm doing them for) all have their holders from past years. You just pull out last years and slide in the new one for the new year.

Hello Donna - do you use those Plastic covers and insert the calendar each year? The stand is interesting - do you have a picture of it without the calendar OR I guess I could hang the calendar? just use the hole in the middle of those plastic cover things??
ReplyDeleteWhere do you get your basic calendar from - or is it you own template?

I just love this wordart!!!! Hugs, Sue
ReplyDeleteThanx for the wordart Donna and the photos of your calendar...great idea. Have fun readying the cabin, hope it isn't too chilly up there yet! ENJOY the terrific triple party!! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Mat
ReplyDeleteHello Donna - thanks for the Hugware info - I have some, maybe I can find a template. Do like the art on the cover, what I can see of it. It does look familiar. I was a member of Hugware for many, many years, too bad they decided to close it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway - thanks so much for the reply.
